This week I’ve started a 10 Day Juice Fast. It’s a healthy way to reboot my system, and push toxins out of the body. Ever since watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead earlier this year, I’ve been juicing a lot. I’m going to use my blog here as a way to record what I drank and how I felt each day during the fast. Hope you enjoy following my 10 Day Juice Fast with me!
Juice Fast Day One
I did the following and also drank a lot of water throughout the day.
- Carrot (5-6)
- Plain Teeccino (Herbal Coffee, cause I seriously missed my coffee! If it’s herbs, that means it’s okay, right?)
Lunch (Phil Staples Mean Green):
- 6 kale leaves
- 4 stalks of celery
- 2 apples
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 lemon
- Piece of ginger
Fresh Squeezed Lemon and Water
- 1 beet (with stalk)
- 3 apples
- 3 carrots
And I’m just going to be honest with you all and admit that I cheated last night and had some homemade popcorn. It was organic and I just used coconut oil and salt, so does that make it okay? Sigh…yeah…I’m a popcorn addict along with being a coffee addict. Don’t be hatin’! 😉
How I feel? Surprisingly not hungry. It’s my mind that keeps telling me I want food, yet my stomach feels full. Oh, and I had to take several *achem* trips to the bathroom. #TMI Otherwise, feeling good and ready to tackle day two.
