10 Day Juice Fast Day Five: I’m halfway there!

It’s day five of the juice fast and I’m halfway through the ten days! I’m feeling good, and the cravings are disappearing. Don’t get me wrong…… if I thought about it, I’m sure I’d love me a good sushi roll, or even just some bread. But, I’m avoiding thinking about that as much as possible. Keeping it out of my thoughts, and focusing on the scrumptious juicing helps. I do feel full, and content with each juice. Experimenting with new juice recipes is also quite fun! Here’s what went down on day five of my 10 day juice fast.

Breakfast:

  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 red d’Anjou pear
  • 1 cup dark sweet cherries
  • 1 handful spinach
I’m absolutely loving cherries in my juices. Combined with pumpkin, they add a rich creaminess to the drink that is quite delightful! Spinachy goodness added in just makes for a good, healthful drink.
Lunch:

Just Carrots for this one. I simply adore a good carrot juice. A lot of people aren’t fans of carrots, and that’s cool. More for me! ;)

Dinner:

  • 6 kale leaves
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 2 apples
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Piece of ginger

You’re probably noticing a pattern with this last juice. I usually drink this one at least every day. It’s just so hearty and green, and it tastes fabulous!
