10 Day Juice Fast Day Two: Oh, sometimes I get a good feelin…

Day two of my juice fast went really well. In between juices I drank a lot of water as well as fresh lemon water, too. How am I feeling? Really good actually! I did feel slightly light-headed in the evening time, but it didn’t last but a few minutes. I’m still able to exercise here and there. I’ve been doing small exercises throughout the day vs. more intense and longer workouts. Push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and of course dancing here and there are how I am staying active (I do love to dance!!).

Here’s what I drank…

Breakfast:

  • 6 Carrots
  • 2 Green Apples
  • 2 handfuls of spinach

This had quite a bit of spinach in it, but I couldn’t even taste it because the apples and carrots were so sweet. It was a yummy way to start out the day.

Lunch:

  • 2 kale leaves
  • 4 chunks cantaloupe
  • 1 apple
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 orange

I wasn’t a fan of this one. It was actually a little bitter, mainly because I used the entire orange, peel and all. Next time, I won’t be using the peel. #lessonlearned

Dinner:

  • 6 kale leaves
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 2 apples
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Piece of ginger

This one is still my favorite, because it not only tastes good, but it’s also extremely hearty and filling.
