Whether or not you’ve ever used essential oils before, chances are that you’re interested in them due to all the hype and things you’ve heard about them from others. Fall is the perfect time to start using them, because it’s the time of year when we need those added benefits of immunity once the weather starts turning colder.
This is a very calming oil. Diffusing it really helps me relax. It’s also perfect if I start to feel a little achy from the cold as it will warm and provide temporary relief. Plus, if I have company coming over I can diffuse this and the house smells as if I’m baking something delicious in the kitchen!
As one of the few oil blends on this list, it is also one of the most powerful as it contains cinnamon bark, clove, rosemary, lemon, and eucalyptus. It is the oil that I use the most during the cold months. It helps us stay healthy, and is the first thing I reach for when anyone in the family is feeling a little off.
Clove is perfect for oral health, and also for immunity. It is fantastic when diffused with cinnamon and orange. I keep clove on hand for any kind of oral care issues, and it’s also perfect for holiday baking.
#4 Cinnamon Bark
Known for it’s immune-boosting powers, Cinnamon bark is something to definitely have on hand for the spiced cider and baked goods. But did you know that it’s also been used to help provide relief during “that time of the month,” ladies? Who knew! Forget the chocolate, go grab some cider with cinnamon! Wait… did I really just say forget the chocolate? Okay… maybe we can have both…
This oil can help maintain a healthy weight during the holidays, and it also uplifts the mood to help fight the winter-time blues! I love combining it with nutmeg and cinnamon bark in the diffuser. The scent is absolutely delicious!
Ginger is great for the tummy, and definitely a must in all that holiday baking as well! It can also help in maintaining a healthy weight during the months when most everyone puts on about 5lbs.
For when you’ve had too much to eat during that Thanksgiving dinner! This blend is powerful in aiding digestion, and is always my go-to either before or after meals.
Aids in healthy digestion, and is also very invigorating. It can benefit in keeping your head feeling well during times of tension, and also helps with focus and alertness.
#9 Northern Lights Black Spruce*
With the scent of a pine tree, this one aids in healthy breathing. It has a rich, woodsy, and invigorating aroma. Combine with peppermint in the diffuser, and you have a pine tree candy cane scent filling the air! It can also help maintain the appearance of healthy-looking skin!
The ultimate holiday oil is also perfect for added immunity-boosting while harnessing the power of tree resin. It will also give your skin that healthy smooth glow, which is why I use it in my nightly regimen.
A blend of Eucalyptus, Myrtle, Marjoram, Pine, Lavender, Cypress, Spruce, and Peppermint makes this the perfect oil for lung health. It is great for opening up the air pathways, allowing you to breathe deep. Depending on my needs, I will either apply this topically or diffuse in the diffuser.
