About Crystal Collins

I'm a former sweet-tooth turned health-nut. After a difficult loss of a first pregnancy and having a second child with a heart condition, I became obsessed with health and wellness. I revamped our entire family's lifestyle, dropped seven pant sizes, and created a website where I could share our story and help support people wanting to make small changes day by day in order to live well. I also support my family by the work that I do here through advertising content, affiliates, and partnership/consultant links within content. When you click and/or order, it puts food on our table. Thanks for all your support, and may you live well and thrive!

5-Minute Face Makeup {Tutorial}

I'm a simple girl, that likes simple things. I'm that girl whose attempt at a smoky eye looks like she had a run in with wild boar. Yep. That's me. I like to be out the door in 5 minutes. I mean...I've got 4 whippersnappers running around, so there's not much time for getting myself ready. [...]

Mango Coconut Superfood Smoothie

If you're looking for a refreshing Summer smoothie without artificial or added sweeteners, this one packs a punch! Plus it is loaded with powerful antioxidants and can be customized to your preference (ie. adding frozen pineapple chunks and/or banana is divine!). Dry Brushing For Skin – What Is It, and How to Do it

I've recently started doing Dry Skin Brushing to help tighten up and exfoliate all of my skin. We spend so much time exfoliating and taking care of our faces, that a lot of times we don't think about the rest of our skin. We should, because it's our largest organ and its appearance oftentimes reflects [...]

Is Thrive Market Really a Good Deal on Organic Groceries?

I was hearing a lot about Thrive Market, and decided to go ahead and put them to the test. Is it really a good deal? I had put together a shopping cart full of groceries on Amazon, and my total came up to about $160. I put the same amount in my cart plus a [...]

Why Beautycounter

As I mentioned in a previous article, choosing safer cosmetics/skincare was one of the last "healthy changes" I made in my natural journey. In this week's video, I share a little bit more about why Beautycounter products are so amazing, and why the mission to get safer skincare into the hands of everyone is something [...]
