  1. I made this recipe and liked it, but learned that the amount of time you boil it can make or break it. Be sure to not let it “overcook.” a few of mine came out too sticky and not really able to paint with.

  2. Actually not so “natural” as they use standard food dyes, which are chemically derived from petroleum products, so not so safe, as the skin is an organ through which things are absorbed. For information, see http://www.feingold.org
