Last month, as part of Kenmore’s Biggest Challenge,  I asked you all what your biggest challenge was in trying to “go green.” This month Kenmore wants to know what your Genius Tip is. By sharing on their Facebook Page, you are entered to win up to $3,000 in gift certificates, and a chance to be in their TV ad spot.

This month I’m sharing with you my “genius tip” for how we go more green in our household.

I’m not sure how much of a genius this makes me, since I’m sure I’m not the only one that does this, but I save all my glass spaghetti sauce, jam and juice jars for storing things like nuts, coffee, spaghetti, and bulk necessities I buy like baking powder and grains. I also grab up great deals on glass containers at yard sales and thrift stores for dirt cheap.

Not only am I saving money, recycling and helping the environment by reducing waste and using less plastic, but I don’t need to worry about harmful BPAs and other chemicals seeping into my foods from plastics.

What is your Genius Tip?  Kenmore wants to know, and is giving away up to $3,000 in Gift Certificates and a chance to have the best Genius Tip turned into a TV Ad!  Visit their Facebook page and enter today! For every genius tip given, BlogFrog will donate $5 to the Red Cross Relief Fund.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Kenmore. The opinions and text are all mine.
