Help For Haiti: Give Your Aid and We’ll Donate!

Many of you know the devastation that is going on right now in Haiti.   Lives have been lost, and people are still hurting, without food, shelter and water.  Now is the time for those of us that are sitting comfortably in our homes to stand up and make a difference.  That is why I am joining together with a group of bloggers to hopefully make a big impact.

I want to encourage all of my fellow bloggers and my readers to give in whatever way that is possible for you.

Bloggers: For every blogger that links up to their Help For Haiti blog post here, my family will personally give a $1 donation to the Help For Haiti cause.

Readers: For every person that comments here telling me how they gave to the Help For Haiti fund, my family will donate .30 cents, which will provide a meal for one person.

Ways to Give:

Donate to Compassion International

Numana – .30 cents provides one meal for someone in Haiti

Donate Online to the Red Cross or text “Haiti” to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.

I believe these are worthy places to send your money so that it sees the most impact in Haiti.  To see a list of more places you can donate, go HERE.

If you can find a way to even give a small amount, I highly encourage you to do so!  These people are left without mothers and fathers, children, food, clothing, shelter and water.  They are completely devastated and need our help!  Find a creative way to come up with some money to donate.  If you are Eating From Your Pantry this month, consider donating the money you would have spent on groceries.  Or when you go shopping, consider donating the amount that you saved with coupons.  However you do it, give!  Help save lives!  By working together, each of us is making a huge impact!

I also want to encourage everyone to pray for the people in Haiti.  They need miracles right now, and I believe these are possible through the power of prayer!

Be sure to also visit Money Saving Mom in order to see a huge list of other bloggers that are participating.  When you give, we all give, so make an impact now!
