Calendula oil is great for healing sores in the mouth, sore throats, and inflammations in the mouth and throat. With the seasons about to change, many will start experiencing winter colds and flu.

Having some homemade Calendula oil on hand, may just be what you need. With the ingredients just being olive oil and Calendula flowers, this is one oil that’s easy and cheap to make.

  1. I recently made some of this for the first time to help with my son’s eczema. I have never heard of it being used for colds. Do you drink it? And how much?

  2. I guess it says that you can gargle with it. So I guess that means add it to some water since it would be too thick. Also something I found out is that it works great on mosquito bites. I put it on some today and within a few seconds they stopped itching and the swelling went down very quickly. I couldn’t believe it.
