Costco Shopping 7/7/11

We’re getting ready to leave for our camping road trip, and you know what that means! It was time to stock up on organic and natural groceries at Costco.

We even got a nice cooler for $39.99. While we could probably have gotten a cheaper cooler with a sale somewhere, I doubt we could have gotten such a nice one. I’ll have peace of mind knowing that this cooler will keep our food good during our trip.

Total spent on cooler and groceries at Costco: $209.29

What we got:

  • Cooler $39.99
  • All Natural Chicken Apple Sausage $13.49 x 2
  • Hebrew National Hot Dogs $8.99
  • Real Lemon 2 pack (for Lemonade) $5.29
  • Organic Mixed Vegetables $5.99
  • Coconut Water $14.69 x 2
  • Clif Organic ZBars $10.79 x 4
  • Food Should Taste Good Multigrain Chips $6.29
  • Wild Caught Canned Salmon $10.99

    • Coconut water naturally contains electrolytes so it is great for hydration and as a sports drink.

  1. 30 cans of chef boy ar dee, big…on clearance for .39 (not dented) = 11.70 – 9.00 (mega event at Frys) = 2.70 – 2.00 (two .50 coupons doubled) = OOP .70 cents for all 30 cans. :)

  2. Not my cheapest deal, but my favorite was driscolls organic strawberries for .99!

  3. At the commissary yesterday my mom and I ended up getting 16 ten oz blocks of cheese for $.89 each and 64oz oceanspray juice for $.49 each – they had some special where they gave you 3 coupons for cents off that you could use on one item so instead of 40 cents off it was 1.20 off.

  4. oh and got a booster chair for DS1 for the table for $4 at a yard sale- looks brand new just a little dusty.
