fall winter wellness essential oils nutmeg

#1 Nutmeg

This is a very calming oil. Diffusing it really helps me relax. It’s also perfect if I start to feel a little achy from the cold as it will warm and provide temporary relief. Plus, if I have company coming over I can diffuse this and the house smells as if I’m baking something delicious in the kitchen!

As one of the few oil blends on this list, it is also one of the most powerful as it contains cinnamon bark, clove, rosemary, lemon, and eucalyptus. It is the oil that I use the most during the cold months. It helps us stay healthy, and is the first thing I reach for when anyone in the family is feeling a little off.

Wait… did I really just say forget the chocolate? Okay… maybe we can have both…

Yes Thieves oil is the best during the cold winter months! I am a mother of four and at the first signs of sickness (you know..glassy eyes, sniffles, cold hands lol) I reach for my little friend in a bottle. I put a few drops mixed with a simple carrier oil (you can even use olive oil if that’s all you have in the house) and apply it to the bottom of their feet before bed and diffuse a few drops in their room. It’s a miracle worker..and my children love it because they say it smells like Christmas….a win win 🙂
