Run run run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man! Do you know the muffin man?
I love me some Gingerbread during the holidays. But it’s really tough to find it made with wholesome ingredients unless I make it from scratch myself. That’s a lot of work and time that I simply don’t have these days, but I sure can make a gingerbread smoothie in a few minutes with the blender!
This Gingerbread Smoothie recipe uses raw, vegan ingredients and is oh so good to you! The trick with this is to use some fresh ginger, but if you’re out you can always go for the powdered stuff. Meh. Get fresh if you can!
The subtle bite from the ginger and the molasses in this just makes it divine and tasting just like the Gingerbread man!

We made a video to show you how we make this smoothie! Enjoy. 🙂

Gingerbread Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 TB molasses
- 3 TB maple syrup
- 1 TB chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 small chunk of fresh ginger (peeled)
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of cloves
- pinch of allspice
- Gluten-Free Ginger Snaps (optional – note that these are not vegan)
Directions:
Blend it all up in your blender, and then you can optionally top it with crumbled gluten-free ginger snaps! And try not to drink it all up in one sitting… Unless you’re not a fan of ginger (which my daughter is not), you’re gonna wanna gulp this down!
But if you don’t like ginger, then stay away. More for me! 😛
