I love me some good healthy juicing recipes. Real juice in and of itself will give the body energy. Why? Because it is packed with amazing vitamins and nutrients that go into the blood stream so quickly it will make your head spin…

Or it will make your stomach turn – turn because it’s loving what you’re putting into it! heh.. Anyway, I recently did a juicing clinic at Whole Foods Market and am getting ready for my next one at Alive! Expo in Atlanta.

So let’s talk about some juices to give you energy. We know that whole food, green, vegetable and fruit rich juices are going to give you a nice boost, but these are some extra special good ones. Check it.

whole foods elixir juice recipe

Whole Foods Elixir

This is the recipe that we recently made at my Juicing for Health Clinic at Whole Foods Market. I demonstrated that I get double the juice by using the press method, and gave out a ton of information on how to get started with juicing.

  • 4-6 swiss chard leaves
  • 2 green apples
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 cup pineapple

The high carb count and Vitamin C will get you ready to go. This is great for a pre-workout juice, or just a juice to start out your day with. Move over coffee! We’ve got us some juice here. Here’s the video where you can watch my demo with this specific juice:

happy beet juice

Happy Beet

I simply adore this juice for one major reason: you can’t taste the red beet at all. Now don’t get me wrong – I love a good beet. But I know many people that cannot stand the taste of them. So this juice makes them doable, and is so completely tasty! This one is loaded with natural fructose and Vitamin C to get you ready to sing that Happy Song over and over again!

  • 1 small red beet with greens
  • 1 package of blueberries
  • 2 kiwis (the kiwis cancel out the beet flavor)
  • 2 apples

dancing queen juice

Dancing Queen

You’re sure to get up and moving with this one. It’s simply scrumptious, and packed full of that energy boost to get you movin’ and groovin’.

  • 4 apples
  • 4 pears
  • 1 large bunch of fennel

This is one of my favorite juices, because I love the slight licorice-type taste of fennel. If you aren’t a fan of licorice, you probably won’t like this. But if you are – you’ve just become a Dancing Queen fanatic!

Well, now that you’ve got your juice….why not join me in a “Happy” dance? Enjoy the video below…
