Fresh green juices on a regular basis has given me so many amazing benefits. When I first started juicing I wasn’t really sure that it could help me a whole lot. I had already lost a significant amount of weight just through exercise and healthier diet choices, but I had reached a plateau in my weight loss journey. So I finally looked into juicing recipes for weight loss, better health, energy, and overall well-being.

Two years later I’m a juicing fanatic (as if you all couldn’t tell). I love it, how it has changed my life, and how it has changed the lives of others. My skin is clearer, my eyes are brighter, I have more energy, I can think more clearly, and I feel amazing when I juice!

Juicing has even become popular with my children!

Obviously the kids don’t drink it for weight loss (please tell me you didn’t think that…), but for the health benefits. Actually, I personally don’t even juice for weight loss or even maintaining my weight anymore. It’s all about the health benefits. Now that I’ve reached a healthy weight, juicing is all about the nutrients and health benefits.

For those of you that haven’t taken the jump into juicing (or maybe you have), I’m giving away a free download of 10 of my favorite easy green juicing recipes. This is a freebie for my email subscribers. For those of you that sign-up for my email list, I’ll send you a copy of this for free!

Juicing for Weight Loss Tips & FAQ:

Q: Do I need a juicer or can I just make smoothies?

A: For juicing, you definitely need a juicer. You can see where I talk about the big Juice vs. Smoothie debate here.

Q: Won’t you just put weight back on after you stop juicing?

A: If you go back to eating unhealthy foods, then yes. The idea behind juicing is that you will use it to jumpstart a healthier lifestyle. Once you see the benefits of healthy eating and start shopping for healthier foods, you won’t want to go back to processed foods again.

Q: Should I consult a doctor before beginning a juice diet?

A: Yes. You. Should. Not everyone can go on a juicing diet. Juicing is a great supplement to regular eating, but shouldn’t substitute for meals for a long period of time.  A temporary juice cleanse is good for flushing out toxins and jumpstarting your health. But always consult with a medical professional before beginning a juice cleanse, because not everyone should do one.

Q: What are your favorite fruits and vegetables for a juice diet?

A: I have so many favorites that I have tried through the years, but these ones have come to be my favorites because of the amazing nutrients:

  • Swiss Chard
  • Kale
  • Beets
  • Ginger
  • Lemons
  • Green Apples
  • Tumeric
  • Romaine

So what are you waiting for? Jump on the green juice bandwagon. It’s where all the juicy kids hang out. Ok, ok…if you’re still not convinced, you can read more of what I’ve written about the Juice Diet here.
