Sustainable Gardening: How to Plant for Fall

With the Fall season fast approaching, it is time for me to get some of my goodies into the ground. This Fall I’m planting mostly leafy greens along with some broccoli and fennel. The fennel isn’t so much a Winter time plant, but since I live in a warmer climate it seems to do really well here all year round.

Here’s a video I put together showing you why I believe sustainable gardening is important (using Non-GMO seeds!), and I also demonstrated my method of square foot gardening in a small bed.

I usually purchase most of my seeds from Sustainable Seed Co., but I have been known to pick up organic non-gmo seeds from various other sources. So far, I am very happy with this seed source.

Do you have any plans for Fall Gardening? Do you have any questions about Sustainable Gardening and using non-gmo seeds?
