Vegan Cheese for Pizza Recipe

As you all know I’m on this new vegan journey, and I’m experimenting with recipes along the way. The documenting of said recipes has been pretty epic up until this point. I’m making both fails and successes, but sometimes I make something so epic that it simply must be shared with the world. In this case, enter vegan cheese for my pizza.

This is otherwise known as heaven. Vegan cheese? “Ew!” you may say, to which I retort, “you have no idea what you’re missing.” So anyway, onto the video and recipe…

Vegan Cheese Recipe

  • Approximately 1/2 cup soaked and rinsed cashews (makes them smooth!)
  • 1 TB minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Smidgen of salt (can I say that a thing? Just salt it to taste, to!)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Squeeze a little bit o’ lemon juice in there
  • Add a couple TB of water until you reach a good consistency

Blend all that up in your high-powered blender until it’s nice and smooth.

And voila! Top it on your pizza, dip your carrot sticks into it, or just dip your finger into it and go to town!

Side note: I’m still trying to perfect the crust for my pizzas. I’m thinking coconut flour may not be the best base for it. Let me know if you have recommendations for a vegan pizza crust for me!

If you want to keep up with all of my experiments, some of which I don’t post on the blog, be sure you’re subscribed to me over on YouTube!

I'm a former sweet-tooth turned health-nut. After a difficult loss of a first pregnancy and having a second child with a heart condition, I became obsessed with health and wellness. I revamped our entire family's lifestyle, dropped seven pant sizes, and created a website where I could share our story and help support people wanting to make small changes day by day in order to live well. I also support my family by the work that I do here through advertising content, affiliates, and partnership/consultant links within content. When you click and/or order, it puts food on our table. Thanks for all your support, and may you live well and thrive!
